Building on its Early Childhood Development (ECD) efforts to support vulnerable households caring for young children, HOPE worldwide in South Africa was recently awarded a new $200,000 from FHI360, to expand its ECD work to include a Home visiting component. The goal of the new 3-year grant it to provide parents and caregivers, who are their children’s first teachers, with the knowledge and skills to nurture and stimulate their children and promote learning, brain development and school readiness.
